Overview of your tour

A day on Solta island, discovering the story of olives, making honey, swimming, with a home cooked lunch and fabulous local island wine! With just 1500 residents, Solta has remained one of the most unspoiled islands in the Adriatic. After we meet you and walk to the ferry, you'll be met by the island's third generation bee keeper, Goran who will take you to his family estate overlooking the ocean. A third generation beekeeper, Goran's honey farm is legendary with visitors coming from more than 100 countries!

Learn about the amazing role bees play in our life, see a real hive (behind glass!) and how honey, propolis and other bee products are made; taste a real honeycomb and more, and after the presentation, you'll be treated to a fabulous home-cooked lunch by Natasha , including the island's legendary Dobricic wine! Before the ferry back to Split, time for a glorious swim in the sea or just enjoy a walk around the charming seaside village of Rogac

Your tour itinerary

We meet in Split, walk you to the ferry. Transfer to the Tvrdic Honey Farm. Specially prepared, home-cooked lunch with wine and outdoor terrace, shaded presentation at the honey farm. Transfer back to Rogac with time to swim in the sea if you wish, then the ferry back to Split. We can customize this program by taking you to the island earlier or later and/or adding other programs as well. Just message me with what you would like to change/add or do!

Our tour of Split and Trogir with Robert and Nives was fantastic. As we planned this tour months in advance , he was great at communicating with us of any necessary changes and did a great job of accommodating us. The tour itself was great and they were extremely knowledgeable of the area and the history of each place visited. My wife and I both highly recommend this great tour.

I have travelled extensively over the past 40 years and Robert and Rada were the best guides I have ever had. We had a group of 8 touring Trogir and Split Croatia with a delicious and relaxing lunch at the winery. Robert was informative and entertaining and a great guy. I would highly recommend touring with them.

Natasa gave us a great tour. She is very passionate and knowledgeable about Split and the surrounding area. Her sense of humor kept us entertained the entire day. A visit and lunch at a local winery was a highlight of the day.

We had so much fun with Luka, we could listen for hours to him. What a good and passionate storyteller, lovely human being and—of course—a big GOT fan! Thank you Luka!

Incredible tour and I learned so much. Luka is so deeply knowledgeable about Split, Croatian and European history. I have a better understanding now of the history of this beautiful place and will be able to keep learning on my own.

Natasa was the perfect tour guide—knowledgable, enthusiastic, friendly and funny. She made things come to life and no question went unanswered. All in all a most interesting and informative tour!

The Diocletian Palace is huge and complex. Thanks to Robert and his fellow guide/friend, Rada, we got to see all of it along with an understanding of the Palace's evolution to the present. Old Split is truly alive. Robert is one of a kind and very entertaining and Rada indulged my passion for architecture along with the history. Wonderful tour!
