While living here in Split I also began to design my own tour programs and worked with top-tier travel agencies and tour providers, like Tours by Locals, eventually doing more than 275 tours with more than 100 5-star reviews.

Together with friends who I met during the past decade—from archeologists and boutique winery and restaurant owners to well-known Split personalities, I decided to create a suite of intriguing private tours with Split’s best professional guides.

These are not your ordinary tours—we take you off-the-beaten-track to see places most tourists never see; hear the stories about how this Roman fortress became a living city; as well enjoy the best cinnamon buns and ice cream you have ever eaten; meet the last remaining filigree silversmith in Split; an iconic local artist and even more.

My tourism publications

In addition to publishing DiscoverSplit for 15 years, I also authored the Tourist Board of Split’s newest publication, the 48-page Split Guide, as well as the 128-page Split-Central Dalmatia Travel Guide to Activities, Events and Destinations; Discover Split’s Restaurant Guide; DiscoverHvar, DiscoverSolta and DiscoverKorcula.

I was also hired to research and write DiscoverDubrovnik and in 2024, DiscoverIstria – the only English language newspapers for tourists in these communities. I also served as the English language editor of the official tourist board publication Visit Split.
