Overview of your tour

Seeing Dalmatia from above is a unique experience. We'll take off from Sinj's private commercial airstrip and see the villages around Sinj from a bird-eye perspective before winging our way to the coast down to Split. Offshore, enjoy the islands of Solta, Brac and Hvar. As we swoop into the Old Town, we'll see the majestic Klis Fortress and other sites, before returning to Sinj.

Your tour itinerary

We meet in Split and then take the highway and country roads to the historic town of Sinj. The small airport is home to local plane aficionados whose planes are parked here year-round. After take off, we'll head to the coast and then down to Split. Our pilot will point out all the key sites—lots of time for some great photos!

Robert helped our entire group of seven appreciate the construction and significance of this wonderfully preserved old town region within the walls of the historic palace. His love for the city and people became readily apparent as he guided us thru the old walls and alleyways, carefully pointing out minute details on the walls and building blocks that creatively were used in the construction. Even old Roman writing was noted on one of the building blocks that most would never notice. We appreciated his knowledgeable study, and selected local treat of donut like sweet shared with our coffee/tea stop. Highly recommend Robert as your guide to tour Split.

Our tour of Split and Trogir with Robert and Nives was fantastic. As we planned this tour months in advance , he was great at communicating with us of any necessary changes and did a great job of accommodating us. The Diocletian Palace is huge and complex. Thanks to Robert and his fellow guide/friend, Rada, we got to see all of it along with an understanding of the Palace's evolution to the present. Old Split is truly alive. Robert is one of a kind and very entertaining and Rada indulged my passion for architecture along with the history. Wonderful tour!
